About the Editor   

Fery A. Karimi was born in Tehran in 1946 as one of the sons of the miniature master Ali Karimi. After completion of high school, he came to Frankfurt (Germany) in 1964. He studied Business Administration at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt, took his Doctor's degree and finally completed a post-graduate study in Business Informatics. Thereafter, he worked in a number of German and European companies as chief adviser and project manager for a wide range of business administration such as Financial Planning and Controlling, Logistics and Management Information Systems.  

The editor has lived for many years in Germany and is currently retired.
